Senior Paraplanner

The Company:

A long established medium-sized boutique financial planning practice, who continue to grow and take pride in their ability to get the best for their clients. They have a down to earth approach which allows them the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.

The uniqueness of this organisation is that their clients comment on how they now actually understand the complex and often times daunting financial issues and jargon. They are currently seeking a Senior Paraplanner who is looking at joining a growing company with career progression pathways available in the near future.

The Role:

To provide and co-ordinate paraplanning services and other technical support to the financial planning personnel in conjunction with mentoring client services personnel. In addition, work alongside the Operations Manager to ensure Licensee and legislative compliance measures for the business and Authorised Representatives are documented and adhered to as required.

This role is critical as it controls the flow of advice documents between financial planners and para-planners, resulting in the accurate documentation of advice to our clients. This role is also heavily involved in the development, implementation and review of Practice policies, procedures and processes, in conjunction with the Operations Manager and other staff.

You will be required to:

  • Have a high level of detail and accuracy;

  • Ensure compliance with SOA is completed by para-planner:

  • Ensure Value of Advice and company specifics are communicated in the SOA:

  • Action Record of Advice (ROA) as directed by Financial Planner

  • Work closely with Implementation and Compliance Team:

  • Have experience working with DRAFT and Xplan;

  • Be up to date with legislative requirements;

  • Work closely with Financial Planner, Paraplanners and Operations Manager.
