Financial Planning Advice Implementation Officer

The Company:

A long established medium-sized boutique financial planning practice, who continue to grow and take pride in their ability to get the best for their clients. They have a down to earth approach which allows them the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.

The uniqueness of this organisation is that their clients comment on how they now actually understand the complex and often times daunting financial issues and jargon. They are currently seeking a receptionist who is looking at joining a growing company with career progression pathways available in the near future.

The Role:

The role is a part time role with 15 hours per week. This role is crucial to the commercial success of the business.  All tasks performed in this role are aimed at assisting the implementation of the advice given to the business' clients by the Financial Planners.

The role is also crucial in maintaining our clients brand, as the efficiency and accuracy with which the advice is provided and implemented can be a significant contributing factor to our clients' overall satisfaction.

You will be required to:

Provide and implement advice given by planners as a result of a Statement of Advice (SOA) or Record of Advice (ROA)

  • Lodge required applications/ requests or other as per SOA/ROA documentation;

  • Communicate with clients regarding the progress of their applications and implementation;

  • Liaise with clients and third parties re superannuation rollovers, investment funds transfers, pension establishments etc;

  • Liaise with clients, insurers and other third parties (medical etc) to follow-up insurances and outstanding requirements;

  • Liaise with client's Employers to arrange contributions;

  • Ensure Compliance requirements are met.

 

As well, you will be expected to:

  • Attend clients Professional Development Day;

  • Attend Team Meetings as directed by direct report;

  • Ad-Hoc maintenance of XPlan database;

  • Maintain knowledge on all applicable software;

    • XPlan

    • North Online

    • Charter Portal

    • Fee4Service

    • Elevate Online

  • Maintain knowledge on applicable business software applications including – windows, excel, outlook;

  • Other duties or projects as directed by the Client Services Officer or Operations Manager.
